Great time planning events 2008 and scrappin' staff
Wow! What a beautiful weekend to have a staff retreat and planning time.
We have a great year planned for all of you with more in the making for our VIP members.
We were warm by the fireplace, yet enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. The weather was just to pretty to stay in all the time. Janett and Scralett got mud on their shoes as they walked on the beach. They really did wade in the water.
I think we did about 40 pages abd a couple of Bind it all albums. Food was great and the love of the staff is so very special. What a blessing to have staff work together. Look at the website soon for all the dates and events you will want to write in your calendar.

Staff time for scrappin' and plannin'
I am so excited! The auction was great and 23 gals had a great time getting tons of goodies... FREE!
Now, we are loading up the cars and heading to Barren River Lodge in Kentucky for the rest of the weekend. We are having a staff meeting, then scrappin' until Sunday evening! I am taking it all because I simply can't make up my mind what to work on. The fireplace will be going and following the buffett we are potlucking all Sunday.I am staying in my jammies!!! Love my staff and it is my love gift to each of us as Village staff.

Family Time
I loved having the family in the home this Christmas. Debbie, Steve,Scott and Ashley pulled in and the thrill of family moved in too. The music went on the other "real" tree went up. The family receipe for cookies got rolling and the camera flashing. Mike got me a Sony video camera (watch out everyone.. I am likin' it)and the family history is going live! The day they left my wonderful son Rick and one of my grandsons, Johnny arrived. More food, fun and laughter. I took him out for a special grandson shopping trip.
Things I loved about the visits: evening prayers with the family, making more memories, going to the tea house with the girls, seeing Santa and being family. Spending time with my Mike before everyone got up and enjoying our time together. Things I am looking forward to in 2008. More time with him. I plan on being in his boat on the lake early in the morning with the coffee and enjoying us. Travel will happen more.
